The Prophets: Messengers of God's Mercy
If we consider that God is the Divine Bridegroom and the Church is his Bride, then the prophets can be seen as “spiritual marriage counselors.” They afflict the comfortable and comfort the afflicted, calling us to return to our covenant relationship with God. They urge us to repentance, warn us of the dangers of sin, and announce the blessings of faithfulness. We invite you to come learn how their prophetic words speak to us even today, as they draw us closer to our heavenly Bridegroom.

Acts: The Spread of the Kingdom
The Acts of the Apostles is the story of how a few Christians empowered by the Holy Spirit were chosen to bring Christ and the Good News to the ends of the earth. Acts: The Spread of the Kingdom is a twenty-part Bible study that traces how the gospel witness spread outward in waves from Jerusalem and reveals how the seeds of Church structure and authority took root. It shows how the joys and struggles of the early Christians in living the life of Christ apply to us today.

Thousands of years later, we are still called to be disciples—to follow our Rabbi, Jesus Christ, so closely that we are covered with his life, changed, and made new.

Bake and Be Blessed
Beginning November 2nd
Saturdays at 8:00 A.m.In preparation for the holiday season, Church of the Blessed Sacrament will begin a four-week combination book study and baking class on November 2. Each week, we will have a short baking class, a brief discussion on Fr. Dominic Garramone's book Bake and Be Blessed. Teens and their parents, young adults, older adults, novice bakers, and experienced bakers are all welcome.
